Students will know that:
Heat (q) flows from hot (Th) to cold (Tc) through a material by conduction.
To demonstrate their understanding, students will:
- Given an object with a temperature difference from one side to the other, students will describe that as the temperature difference (ΔT) increases, the conductive heat flow (q) increases.

Description
"In the Labyrinth of Heat you must complete the Delta T Challenge by moving across the platforms using your knowledge of heat flow, collecting energy gems along the way and avoiding the pit of solvent beneath you."
The player enters the Labyrinth of Heat and receives instructions from the Heat Trainer. The Delta T challenge requires the player to move platforms by creating a temperature difference across the platform's support bar - which causes the platform to move in the direction of heat flow ... the greater the difference of temperature, the faster the movement. The player earns energy by collecting 'joules' that are found throughout the level. The player uses the platforms and catwalks to get to the far end, where they encounter a display with a challenge question regarding heat flow. If the player answers correctly, they earn energy bonus and also discover that new joules have appeared that can be collected on their return to the exit.
